Being woke: Being alert to social injustice and calling it out, believing and working towards making all people equal. Defending people who aren’t like you. Believing, therefore, that all people should be treated as you would wish to be treated yourself. Loving your neighbour as yourself.

Trump’s personal history: Decades of underhand financial irregularities and sexual misbehaviour, a stream of subcontractors left to go broke because of unpaid bills and myriad bankrupt Trump companies, while Trump himself is never without the cash for a gold bathroom or two. Trump’s own boasting of how he treats women, multiple wives, multiple mistresses, divorce from Ivana Trump on the grounds of Trump’s cruel and inhumane treatment.
The American Legal System: Trump found guilty, by a jury of his peers, of 34 felony charges around financial irregularities and sexual misbehaviour.
Far-right Christianity: “Left-wing plot! Miscarriage of justice! Conspiracy!”
